The 19th Annual Danbury St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 19th in downtown Danbury. The parade steps off from St. Peter Church on Main Street at 2:30 p.m. Bands, floats and marchers will make their way down Main St., up West Street, on to Lake Ave. and end at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center (GDICC) at 6 Lake Ave. The GDICC will serve corned beef sandwiches, hot dogs, desserts and beverages. Admission to the Cultural Center after-parade event is free and live music and Irish step dancing will be included at the post parade party.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade is sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
