Party: 2017 Qld Supermoto Championships incorp into the 2017 Tvle TT

RRAT are hosting the 2017 Qld Supermoto Champs for juniors and seniors in conjunction with the Qld Short Course Road Race Championships this year, The Townsville Tourist Trophy. Lots of great racing, including sidecars, historics and the one hour team event, not to mention some fun jnr snr races in both supermoto and road race.
We hope to get as many supermoto riders as possible at this event to put on a real spectacle, showing the crowds how exciting and exhilerating the supermotos are out on the track.

Heaps of other classes the supermoto machines can enter into as well in this competition. ie Supersingle (a supermoto style bike but classified as a supersingle to race against the road bikes, but scored separately).
Townsville's weather in August is very accommodating for leathers, boots and gloves with temperatures around 25 degrees during the days. Camping is available at the track but there are lots of closeby pubs and motels around at reasonable rates.
This title will decide the 2017 Junior and Senior Qld State Supermoto championships.
Hoping to see all the usual riders as well as new supermoto riders to our track.
There will be a practice for all riders from around late morning to early evening to give everybody a chance to ride on the track and get their bike ready for the next two days racing.
