Party: SUP Club – Duskrats

Bit of wind on its way tonight, but it's staying westerly so a 0.7m low tide should allow us to tuck out of it beneath the high banks just around the bend from Two Tree slipway (www.supsect.com/two-tree-island). To give people half a chance of getting away from work, we're going to stick to a 6pm meet for a 6.10pm launch and just accept that it's going to be dark by the time we finish. (No need for lights, but if you do bring some please make them red so as not to blind everyone else!) We're not going anywhere, just messing about in the dog-leg practicing turns, freestyling and probably playing some SUP hockey. So forget the raceboards and full carbon kit: you're probably better off an something turny and comfortable with your most robust paddle! Then we'll be off the water in plenty of time to eat and drink wherever we fancy (we'll decide where later, depending on numbers...)
