Céilí by the Lee continues to brighten up Monday evenings in Cork! Join us at half past seven in Crane Lane for a night of traditional Irish dancing. We begin the evening at a relaxed pace, covering the basic steps. Moving on, we'll learn some group dances, squeezing in as much as possible in a panic before the two hours are up! Beginners are welcome and no partner is required!
Studies* have shown Céilí by the Lee to be beneficial in the fields of widening social circles in Cork city and beyond, increasing coordination on a dance floor, and improving physical fitness. It is also a delightful full-body immersion in traditional Irish culture.
Our venue is the Crane Lane Theatre, currently nominated for the Hotpress best live venue in Ireland! Home to a glorious dancefloor, and a wonderful range of refreshment for the exerted dancer.
