All comedy open mics are used as a starting ground for many comics, as well as a place to practice new material for the more experienced comedians. Some jokes may kill, others may bomb; but it's always a good time. Be sure to support those appearing on stage; it's not as easy as you think!

FOR AUDIENCE MEMBERS

Saturday Mic's Alright is a FREE show, so like most shows at Jai Thai seating is on a first come first served basis. Once the room is full you'll have to wait until someone leaves and a chair opens up in order for you to sit and watch the show. We will do our best to seat you though, so don't be shy to ask someone if there is a spare seat available.

FOR COMEDIANS

Sign-ups take place via lottery name drop between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM the night of the show. You MUST be present between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM to sign-up. If it is your first time at Jai Thai, please talk with the producers prior to signing up to learn where the light is and anything else you may need to know. The way names are drawn is via lottery, five comics at a time as the night goes on. If you put your name in the lottery but know you aren't staying PLEASE let the host know so we don't call out your name when you're not here. That shit is embarrassing.

NOTE - Be sure to watch the red light! If you go over your time, we will blast Seal's hit song Kiss From a Rose over the speaker system to drown you out and shame you.

So don't be that person.
