We need your voice and input to help save backcountry skiing on your backyard public lands!!
El Sendero has been working locally on your behalf since 2013 with local stakeholders, DNR and WDFW to establish the states first ever winter non-motorized recreation area on public land adjacent to Mission Ridge ski area.
The Naneum-Colockum recreation plan signed into effect in 2015 calls for the state to provide quality winter non-motorized recreation opportunities on your public lands. Chelan County is now developing their own site specific recreation plan on these lands and seeking public comment and input. We need your voice to tell Chelan Co. to stay true to the public process and not deter from the state plan which calls for a winter non-motorized recreation area. El Sendero has had to defend this concept at every turn of the planning process and we are still receiving pushback - NOW IS THE TIME FOR YOU TO SPEAK UP AND BE HEARD!
