Murray Bridge Club is like all Clubs in South Australia. Our shareholders are our members and with that the Annual General Meeting is your chance to find out how the Club has performed over the past 12 months.
It is also our members opportunity to hear from Committee its plan for the future and also the steps it will take to get us there.
This year the AGM will be held on a Sunday afternoon which we believe will give more of our members the opportunity to attend. It is expected that the meeting will last between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
If you are passionate about your club or would like to hear firsthand the many great achievements made over the past financial year, the committee would encourage you to attend.
We would also invite any questions you may have to be submitted in writing no later than 10th of October as we are more than happy to address these as part of the meeting. All other questions that are raised at the meeting shall be taken on notice and shall be answered as soon as possible and no later than 7 days.
At the completion of the meeting we will be opening the bar and with complimentary tap beer, house wine & soft drinks. Committee will then be firing up the BBQ for a few snags and a chat with its members.

As per the constitution, there are 3 committee positions being made vacant at the end of the AGM, as they are at the end of their 2 year term. If they wish these current members are eligible to be nominated again.
However, if you love your club and are interested in becoming a Committee member here is your chance.
Nomination forms are available at the bar or if you like email the Club on [email protected] and we will forward the form directly to you.
Condition of nomination.
• Nomination forms must be signed by 2 financial members.
• Must have been a financial member for 18 months.
• Nominations must have been received by 5pm October 1st
If more than 3 Members are nominated an election will take place and ballot forms will be available at the bar. The votes shall be counted at 11am 15/10/2017. Nominees shall be informed of the counts at 12pm October 15th, just prior to the Annual General Meeting.
Members shall be informed of the results at the Annual General Meeting

Committee and Management are hoping for a huge turnout so please make the effort and put the date in your diary. Sunday the 15th of October at 2pm in the upstairs function room and then afterwards on the balcony.
If you are unable to attend please email your apology to [email protected] so it can be recorded for the meeting. You will be forwarded a proxy nomination form enabling you to give a proxy vote to the member of your choice.
