- First night of the Second Workshop 13 MAY Wednesday -

Deniz Löktas continues the spontaneous workshops and unusual pairings in Nomad Cellars (Annankatu 22). 13 May Wednesday evening, we will be discussing how the red meat pairs with white wines.

"What I usually see in the restaurants, people drink a lot of red wine with Beef&Bearnaise Sauce which I think the structure and the acidity of the sauce really calls for a white wine. Last time in Salmon&Red wine workshop, we saw how a savory vanilla sauce could turn a fish dish into a red wine pairing meal, so this time we will see if the beef will have "the bridge" better with white wine or red wine if it is served with Bearnaise sauce. We are going to serve 1 red and 3 white wines and we really try to chose some wines that will match the best and some wines that will match the worst! to see the differences :) My idea, as I always say, lets try together and figure out!
