Joern and The Michaels return to Estonia after their guest appearance @ Tudengijazz in March 2016.
Their music is called “Kick Jazz” - not obedient to an existing genre, but rather a combination of their
personal musical experiences with various influences. Contrast is on their agenda: Kick Jazz is catchy
and danceable on one hand, but challenging and explorative on the other.
The audience can feel this. Joern and The Michaels amaze many ears and eyes at established venues
and beyond – club surroundings, festivals, concert halls or an alpine station 2000 meters high.

Joern and The Michaels' second album “YEAH! OH YEAH!“ (2015) is a continuation of their debut
“Kick Jazz“. It contains rather refined musical statements in terms of composition and interplay, as
well as a broader spectrum of ecstatic groove and calm introversion. Their explorative and curious
way of playing results in new sound-related discoveries. The trio's collective approach and their
growing together becomes an even more important feature, musically and personally.
