This is the second of TWO live band dances that are open to the public over BC Day long weekend. The first one is on Friday night (https://www.facebook.com/events/412668385590597/), and the other is on Saturday (the page you're currently reading).
Mr. Doug Rhodes has put together a lovely six-piece band featuring some of Victoria's finest musicians, including Brooke Maxwell on the ivories and Al Pease on the woodwinds. Mr. Andrew Sanderson will DJ for us between band sets.
If you're new to swing dancing, come before 8:30pm so you can take the introductory lesson and get your sea legs. You don't need a partner, and it's a beginner lesson so experience isn't needed either.
Date: Saturday August 1st, 2015
Times: Doors open at 8:15pm, drop-in beginner lesson begins at 8:35pm, the band drops the beat at 9:20pm, and we wrap it up at 12:30am.
