Party: Red Hot Swing's Halloween Dance Party with Live Band! (Masquerade Mixer with KOOL FM)

It's the last Friday of the month, so it's time to upgrade our weekly dance to a live band, as usual. This month we're bringing in Dockside Drive, an eight-piece band that Christabel and I heard (and thoroughly enjoyed) at the Penticton Jazz Festival in September. This is a bigger band than we usually get; they've got three vocalists!

If you've never danced swing before, we kick off the festivities every Friday night with a 45 minute drop-in beginner lesson at 8:35pm. You need neither a partner nor any experience to enjoy yourself! We'll also have snacks, costume prizes, and lots of good times for all.

Date: Friday October 30th
Times: Doors open at 8:15pm, lesson begins at 8:35pm, band starts at 9:25pm, and we keep going until 12:30pm.

Location: 2750 Quadra St (in Dance Victoria, just north of Hillside)
Price: $13 adults, $10 students
