Tattersall's Racing Club continues to celebrate 150 years of racing, friendship and history with the final event of the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival calendar, the Tattersall’s Race Day on Saturday 18 July at Doomben Racecourse. The day promises to be a fun-filled day of racing, fashion and live entertainment and is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the end of the 2014/2015 financial year with an abundance of hospitality packages available.

In honour of the first Tattersall’s Cup, which was run on 16 August 1865 the Tattersall’s Race Day will incorporate a vintage theme with roving Polaroid girls, Andrew’s Sisters Tribute, vintage bikes and a ‘Sparkling Tent’. As well as featuring a stellar line up of live entertainment, stunning fashion, competitions and of course edge of your seat racing.

The popular Tattersall’s Club Singapore Airlines Fashions on the Field competition returns featuring emcee Nikki Parkinson from Styling You and Jay Pask, Fashion Police in the Gold Coast Bulleting, Laura Moss from Racing Style Nation and Christie Murray from Christine Millinery making up the judging panel with more to be announced. A fabulous prize of return flights to the winner’s choice of Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong or Shanghai is up for grabs for both the male and female winners. Held in the popular Grove Marquee, right on the track, it will be one of the highlights of the day and the place to be with a live DJ onsite from 12pm to keep the atmosphere alive and pumping.

A live band will provide entertainment right into the afternoon and the Carlton Mid Meeting Place returns, providing the perfect spot right on the lawn to meet with friends and be in the thick of the action. The Sparkling Tent will be setup with different options of sparkling and champagne for race goers to sample.

Gates open at Doomben Racecourse at 10.30am. General admission tickets can be bought at the gate on the day. Adults are $15 and children and pensioners are free.
