Edmontonian Marc Beaudin presents the music from "Jazz Samba," the classic 1962 Verve recording by Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd. "Jazz Samba" is the only jazz album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Pop Charts, winning a Grammy Award for "Best Solo Jazz Performance" while selling half a million copies within 18 months of its release.
To perform this tribute to such an iconic tribute, the Yardbird Suite welcomes:
