Main page > Central Station > STIPE: REM TRIBUTE @ CENTRAL STATION | WREXHAM | FRIDAY 29TH MAY
More of a legend now than a band, R.E.M. have truly changed the face of music. Their 15 album career blossomed from their groundbreaking 1983 debut Murmur, through the hit-fuelled Out Of Time and onwards to 2011’s swansong, Collapse Into Now. Three years later and that fabled live performance that pushed the band through a whirlwind 31 year career can be relived through STIPE: REM TRIBUTE.
With such a vast back catalogue to pool from, STIPE bring you the absolute best of R.E.M.’s hits, from ‘Shiny Happy People’ and ‘Losing My Religion’ to ‘Everybody Hurts’ and ‘It’s The End Of The World As We Know It.’ Michael Stipe himself, vocalist of R.E.M. and the tribute’s namesake, has described them and their show as ‘Awesome!’ For a truly one-of-a-kind R.E.M. experience, STIPE: REM TRIBUTE are the band for you.
