Based in the Sutherland Shire, North of South use an unplugged approach to making music.
The band, originally formed as a pub rock cover band in 2003, spent the best part of 6 years playing around Sydney.
After a 5 year hiatus they reformed, changing names and focus; two acoustic guitars and a stripped back drum setup creating a more chilled out vibe to their music.
A typical gig will see the band move from reggae inspired grooves through to acoustic guitar driven songs.
So if it’s kicking back with friends and some cool tunes, or dancing and singing along to classic party tracks, then North of South has you covered.
