Back by popular demand, the worlds number 1 Oasis tribute band DEFINITELY OASIS will be returning to Peterhead on the 18th of July, for this years Scottish Week gala.

The band packed out the Peterhead Football Club last year and had no hesitation when asked to come back to the club again.

Definitely Oasis began in late 2012, Singer Brian Mcghee had been toying with the idea fora few years and with Oasis now no longer together he thought it would be the perfect time to do it.

Everyone in the band has been involved in music for years, Derek Brown has been playing up and down the country for the last decade or so as well as Brian, Robin and Tony who were all part of the band Cairo, Derek Mccabe has also been touring the country as The Complete Noel Gallagher so the lads are no stranger to the live stage.

The singer Brian still currently sings for arguably one of the most successful tribute act of them all The Complete Stone Roses and is no stranger to the big gigs having toured all over the world as well as sharing the stage with some major acts including The Sex Pistols, The Happy Mondays, Faithless and Calvin Harris to name a few.

While many tribute acts see performing gigs as more of a way to make some money Definitely Oasis do it for the love of Oasis having all grew up with the music cemented into them during the 90s and 00s

For Definitely Oasis it is all about keeping the music and spirit of Oasis alive the band prides itself on sounding as close to the records as possible and with Oasis no longer together this
is the closest you'll get to experiencing a live gig.
