THE ROSSI GANG
This young septet are keeping the good name of bebop alive and well in east Vancouver with their own brand of ‘Grease Jazz’. From busking regularly around the city to playing weekly shows at Marijuana dispensaries, The Rossi Gang are one of the hardest working bands out there doing what they love best, playing!

The Rossi Gang is: Aaron Levinson on drums, Noah G on bass, Sky Lambourne on trumpet, Noah Franche-Nolan on piano, Conner Stewart on saxaphone, Joseph Abbott on clarinet and Zak Youssef on Cornet.

HIGH SOCIETY
In 2010 Chelsea D.E. Johnson and Adam Farnsworth started a bi-monthly showcase called Sunday’s Best. They took on the name and two players: the multi-instrumentalist Ashton Sweet on the baritone saxophone and the well-toured percussionist Kenan Sungur on drums. The night became a local hit and the band grew tighter as they prepared new material for each show. In 2011 the group changed their name to High Society and brought their material to Mushroom Records and CBC Studio 2 to record their self-titled, debut album. They have featured as a main act at the Robson Valley Music Festival and Arts Wells, backed burlesque troupes, rocked house parties,cafés, bars and theatres across Western Canada and are eager to make the leap to the East Coast tour circuit. High Society is based out of Vancouver, B.C. Their second full-length album On the Run was released March, 2014.

Located in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, The Fox Cabaret is a nightclub and performance space which provides a platform for the best of independent culture Vancouver. An almost 40-year-neighborhood fixture, the Fox has been home to a cult cinema, an indian movie house and was the last 35mm adult theatre in North America. Relaunched in 2013 by the Arrival Agency, the Fox has been reborn as a cultural space with a commitment to high quality, music, art, performance, entertainment and fun.
