RHYTHMS OF THE CITY
Uk’s premier samba percussion squad, ROTC performs not only authentic ~Carnival samba, but many other funky styles as salsa, soca, funk and even hip-hop with the same passion and energy. “Rhythms” are the beating heart of London Multi-award winning F-IRE COLLECTIVE, bringing drummers, singers, dancers, horns and guitars together having a up to 40-strong group rocking Guanabara’s stage.
DJ DAN GREY
Born and raised in London, Dan first took to the decks at the tender age of 12, where he started working on his craft. He has since developed his own diverse style, influenced by the art of turntablism, incorporating all styles of music and with the ability to adapt to any crowd. Dan has honed his skills over the past decade, showcasing his talents on radio and in the club scene both in the UK and internationally. Dan is also a DJ for Ministry Of Sound playing alongside big names like MistaJam, Zane lowe, Wide Awake, Martin 2 Smoove and many more. He prepares a very Latin set for this Guanabara's Special Saturday.
