Sunday 16th August, iSalonTango proudly presents their monthly SUNSET MILONGA for social Argentine Tango dancing in Hertfordshire. Doors open 3.15pm, last Tanda at 7.20pm. Door price- includes the open class!

We warmly welcome you to come along and enjoy a beautiful friendly and popular afternoon/early evening of Argentine Tango Dancing at Onslow St Audrey's School in Hatfield. With the renowned DJ Barry Leadbetter, playing authentic Argentine Tango music from the golden era, in tandas with Cortinas.

Fab Dance Venue - with a huge, uninterrupted dance floor for everyone to dance and enjoy, whether you prefer the elegance of the undisturbed "line of dance" or to experiment in the centre. You choose what suits you.

We start the afternoon with a friendly open "Tango Vals" session at 3.30pm for about an hour with the distinguished Maestro Beto Ortiz. This is an opportunity for you to relax and warm up, picking up some valuable pointers on musicality, moves, techniques, whilst getting to greet and embrace your fellow tango dancers.

DJ Barry Leadbetter has lined up some gorgeous traditional Argentine Tango, Milonga and Vals music from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, for you to dance, socialise, chill. Just help yourself to hot beverages, cake, nibbles and chilled water.

You also have the option to buy a drink from our licensed bar or order a takeaway food (to be brought to your table). All very reasonable prices. We don't mind if you wish to bring your own treats.

There is no need to book in advance or to bring a dance partner,
iSalonTango has an amazing Dance Hall, with a large smooth clean wooden dance floor, which is surrounded with plenty of dressed tables and chairs. There is loads of room behind the tables to walk around the Hall without needing to walk through the dance floor, So civilized. With a professional sound system, DJ on a grand stage, commercial circulation fans to keep the temperature under control, and access to a paved garden you really will love to dance here.

The Venue is very accessible by train as is near BR Hatfield Station, servicing the KingsX and Cambridge line. Ideal for those who drive as it is just off the A1(M)j3, just 5 minutes from the M25, and the venue has a totally free large car park on site.

iSalonTango monthly Sunday SUNSET MILONGA has been rated very highly by tango dancers who have experienced these lovely monthly afternoons, so if you have yet to try, we hope to see you on Sunday. Just come along, no need to by shy or wait for a special invite, we only ask for you to come with respect for the music, the floor, your partner and the dance community.

No particular dress code, but this is Argentine Tango, so clean and elegant is key of course.
