The official notice for our annual general meeting has been posted @ http://www.mississaugacanoeclub.ca/notice-annual-general-meeting/
The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. sharp so please arrive at 12:30 to allow time to register.
We invite all members to get involved with making your club a success. Parents of paddlers under 16 automatically hold their child's proxy; we encourage all young paddlers to attend with their parents - your voice matters in club matters!
As you will see, we do not currently have a full slate of Directors so we ask for further members to come forward for consideration. Please note, you can put your name forward for a spot where another member is currently running. Should you wish to be considered for a Board position, please ensure a Nomination Form is properly completed and submitted to any one of the Nominating Committee (Shari Morgoch, Lisa Djurfeldt, Michael Moran or Sheila Darling). An outline of all Board positions is described in our Bylaws.
Notice has also been given for a proposed amendment to the Bylaws to accomodate naming a Vice Commodore to satisfy City affilliation requirements.
Finally, should you be unable to attend the meeting in person, please designate a proxy by using the proxy form (instructions are noted in the proxy).
