It’s a House Party Christmas Special!

We’re totally stoked to have Dave Haslam‘s Yellow Reunion taking over the loft.

One of the highlights of Kendal Calling were Rave Karaoke, seeing is believing!

Quantum Flux tore the roof off at our first House Party. What can beat a drummer, a DJ and a hype men playing everything from Queen to Michael Jackson with a bit of Rage Against The Machine thrown in? We’re not sure but all of the above with added confetti cannons and snow would make just about the perfect night out for us.

Since their first House Party on New Year’s Eve 2009, parties have featured unannounced gigs by The LA’s and DJs have included The Horrors, Stephen Morris, Tim Burgess, Dave Haslam, Howard Marks, Justin Robertson & Eddy Temple Morris. House parties have happened everywhere from railway arches under London bridge to and from Kendal Calling to castles with a hundred beds. Make yourself at home.

Beds to jump on, wardrobes to rummage through, there’s even a kitchen to talk broken biscuits in and who knows….You might leave with a new dress, a bottle of Jack that you find or a china shire horse for your mantlepiece.

This year’s ‘Yellow‘ Reunion will feature all three of the original ‘Yellow’ residents DJ’s Dave Haslam, Jason Boardman, and Elliot Eastwick.

Launched in 1992, ‘Yellow’ at the Boardwalk dominated Friday nights in Manchester for seven years, a magical mix of people getting off on classic New York disco, rare groove, deep funk, and bass-shakin’ hip hop right up until its final night in February 1999.

In 2005 the first ever Yellow Reunion took place, and since then it’s been an annual event, attracting many of the original crowd but a huge number of new converts too. Expect once again; a sell-out crowd, a magnificent selection of soul-stirring tunes, and a wonderful night out.
