Storyteller, singer-songwriter, and working class hero Dave Gunning has 8 ECMAs, two Canadian Folk Music Awards, and 11 critically acclaimed recordings. Singer-songwriter and virtuoso multi-instrumentalist JP Cormier has 13 ECMs, one Canadian Folk Music Award, and has worked with country greats Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, and Bill Munroe. Although they have worked together on and off for 20 years, JP and Dave’s musical relationship really took off with JP’s recent relocation close to Dave in Pictou County. The night will feature new arrangements of traditional folk tunes as well as originals taken from their first release Two.
