Party: KnowNow Rapid HIV testing

Know Now uses a Rapid HIV test which gives you a result in 60 seconds, eliminating the stress of waiting a week or more for results.

When you are ready to proceed you can expect the following:

>The tester will open the INSTI Rapid HIV testing kit and lay out all the items needed to test.
>The tester will put on a pair of gloves and will ask you to volunteer a finger to use for the test.
>Your finger tip will be cleaned with an alcohol swab to kill any bacteria on the skin.
>A one-use lancet is used to gently prick the finger to gather a sample of blood.
>Your finger will be gently squeezed to allow a sample of blood to be collected in a pipette.
>This blood is poured into a mixing solution and then poured into the INSTI Rapid HIV testing kit.
>Two more solutions are poured into the testing kit and allowed to soak through.
>Once all three solutions have soaked through, a result will develop.
Your tester will read the test results to you.
