Held under British Athletics Rules with British Athletics Officials for the first time ever; Essex Blades Athletics Club are proud to host Derby Day 2016!
Currently placed top of the table in the London Universities and Colleges Athletics Series and shortlisted for Team of the Year at the upcoming Sports Awards, the Blades are ready to take on UEA in 100m, 100m and 110m Hurdles, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin and of course, the special event the 4 x 100m relay!
The competition will be tight so please do come and support your fellow blades in their bid to defend their double home Derby Day title.
The club house will be open for the duration of the competition from 12-3pm, serving food, drink and alcohol to help you celebrate with us what will be a fantastic day and hopefully another victory!
