NOT OKAY and our Vice President Southend Ernst Nyarko are organising this event in order to raise awareness about consent.
Guest Speaker: Hareem Ghani - NUS Women's Officer
As we are situated in the town centre here in Southend, students have a number of nightclubs at their door step.
As you can imagine, unfortunately there have been number of occasions where men have forced themselves on women without consent.
We will have an official launch of the campaign on January 18th in The Forum Lecture Theatre at 19:00 and we would be delighted to have you join us.
